September 8, 2011 - Anthony Ponte '77 is proud of his son Vincent who is enrolled at Valley Forge Military Academy
Long after LaSalle, I got involved in the "honor guard" performing full military honor funerals not only for Army but also for Navy, Marines and Air Force.
I recently did one for my cousin, Thomas Peter Jackson, Purple Heart, 101st Airborne, Viet Nam, 42 years after he was killed in action. Newsday did a big story and a video. I wanted to send it to the Alumni Association. I'm the S6 for the unit and also did our web site. The address is www.usvny.com

FEB 26,2011 - From Ed Petrullo '70 - Here is a photo of this past football season when La Salle alumni Dennis Coppertino and George Gonzalez came to one of my son's high school football games. Since that picture, I took a job with my competitor for over a decade in Nashville consulting with hospitals on their waste streams and compliance with regulations. My son went on to be the leading rusher for the #22 High School football program in the country. He was the offensive player of the game in the televised State Championship game at Phoenix Cardinals stadium. We are in the process of working through the college recruiting process to determine where he will go to college in 2012. Brown, Penn State, Duke, Colorado, and Vanderbilt are in the mix.
Also enclosed is a pic of myself, Denis McGee '74 and Nash Roe '74 (l-r: Nash, Myself, Denis) when we got together for lunch recently. I posted it on Facebook and got a bunch of "Why wasn't I invited's?" from other classmates. We hope they can join us next time we get together. Finally, I want to tell you how much I enjoyed your wonderful snow sculptures. I don't know you very well but they indicate a very cool sense of playfulness and good humor. FEB 8 , 2011 - hey Marty, I love catching up via the alumni website. I actually just got married December 2010 and thought I'd send some pics that hopefully can be posted on the alumni site. We got married in Key West, total destination wedding which was awesome. I know you can't post a huge amount, but I have picked out a couple that if you'd like, you can def post. I wish I could have gotten to the stag reunion this past year, it was a biggie for the class of 80 as you know. Anyway, I hope all is well and thanks for updating this site....totally brings me back. Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads-up that Tommy Giamboi and I have been posting hundreds of pics from the '72-'74 period on our facebook pages. (Norm Provost gave us his archives.) I also have some late Eighties and early Nineties stuff I plan to post when I get through all the '72 stuff I have. MAY 2009 - Peter Dans '53 states "Research on this book is underway and will increase in October when the archives will open again in Manhattan College."

MARCH 30, 2009 My friend and fellow classmate Mike Gallucci (class of 1999) had a little get together at his father's house last Saturday. Kevin Osborne (class of 2000) and myself (class of 1999) went to visit Mike before he went back to Afghanistan. The 3 of us will not be able to make it this year. However Kevin said that I should submit this current picture of us in case anyone from our class wanted to see us.

September 2008 - Classmate and LSMA Alumni board member gets married...finally! In a beautiful ceremony on September 6th, Anthony Giammona '77 wed Lisa Fappiano at St. Finbars Church in Brooklyn. Reception was held at the famous landmark "Gargiulios" in Coney Island. Even Tropical Storm "Hannah" couldn't dampen the evening...love filled the room for this wonderful couple!
