I am saddened to hear of Carl's death. He has been in my prayers and thoughts these past many months. I so admired his strength and courage in his illness. I feel blessed to have been but a small part of his life and to have had a good visit with him at the Alumni Reunion last year. His familiy is in my prayers and I pray for Carl's peaceful new life in the Presence of God face to face.

I regrettably would announce the passing of Carl Milea Jr.. Former employer & longtime family friend.. R.I.P., great man, untimely & tragic passing..
Great influence on my life since I was 13 years of age.. Wonderful man & family man..
Treated my own children with as much love & affection as his own dear children.. Truly a sad day for all who were blessed to have known this wonderful man Thomas Willis 1-347-522-5079
I will miss you so very much. We were like brother and sister rather than cousins. I will never forget the proms and visits to colleges. I will miss you forever. I love you. your cousin

Carl Milea at a "Day at the Races" in 2006
This is terrible news you share. I was in Company A as a freshmen and Carl was a Jr. We were with Brother M.M. I still remember him as a very lively person with great character and with a smile on his face all the time. And as I have monitored the website, it seemed Carl was very active with the Alumni and always seemed like a happy guy. He surly was whisked away by God for some reasons and I am sure there is some sort of message for us all to receive from this untimely and early death from Carl. Thanks for keeping us informed. Terrible News.
I was also a plebe in the fall of '70 in Co."A". The juniors who ran the show upstairs were an interesting bunch. Carl was a PFC and very approachable. He got along with everybody from classmates to plebes and always had good advice for us on how to do the same. A lot of the NCO's were always very serious, but his sense of humor as well as some escapades with Sal Caputo kept us laughing. I'm saddened by this news and will pray for his family!
This is a great loss and hard to comprehend as he was always so full of life and spirit. Carl was always a gentleman who made everyone feel welcome and special, he shall be remembered as such.
I met Carl at my first reunion in 1993. He spoke glowingly about La Salle and how important the friendships forged for him by going there. He reinforced my own feeling about why and what binds us as Alumni. He is one of the reasons why I care about La Salle, and I will miss him. Go with God, my "brother alumni". Rest in Peace.
Thank you for the wonderful memorial page for Carl Milea '72, a great friend that will be deeply missed. Eternal rest grant onto him Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts, forever. Barney Fortunato Jr '72
I am so deeply saddened and disturbed to hear of Carl Milea's passing. I know he was suffering from this illness but to hear the final outcome breaks my heart. I am sorry for his family, for all his La Salle "brothers" as well. Thank you for letting me know. My best,
