On Thanksgiving Eve (November 26,2009) the La Salle Military Academy Alumni Association treated the families of two wounded soldiers to dinner at Del Frisco's Steakhouse.  First they experienced the Rockettes in the Christmas Show at Radio City .  Then, after a fabulous steak dinner,  they all moved up the Central Park West and W. 79th to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons get blown up.   Escorted by two NYC firemen driving a FDNY  passenger van, moving through the holiday crowds, traffic and police barricades was a breeze.
It was a meaningful and blessed way to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday for both
families and the alumni that were present!
